Hearing that Victor Tumility is hoping to make a return, this time on a UKIP ticket. Tumilty is Hartlepool's second most prominent band-wagon jumper having sat as a Lib-Dem councillor before losing his seat. He's since been knocked back by PHF as a possible candidate before now trying his hand as a UKIPPER. Quite how you get from Liberal to UKIPPER without prostituting your principles in the process is hard to fathom but then principles have a low value in Hartlepool politics - particularly if you're chasing a useful supplement to a pension.
