Title: Visions
Post by: Hartlepudlion on March 28, 2020, 04: PM
It seems like our Council hasn't had a vision for a while.

I wonder why?

Because the 'visionaries' are in the departure lounge/twilight of their regrettably unforgettable reign. The Wilderness years.

Ah, the days of the 'visions'. But we musyn't forget The Plan, what it was, God knows. But there was a regular eruption of things from Mount Incompetence to get us scratching our collective heads. A&E comes to mind and the stealth hospital at Wynyard. Jacksons Landing a master stroke. Carpetgate shagpile seems fitting. Manor Residents ........ The Funeral The Never Was sounds like a Cold War thriller, but more 'Carry On', except it wasn't funny.
for bravery under enemy fire...Er, no. Apparently awarded for just being there. .....You couldn't make it up. Personally, it looked as wise to me as a tap dancing class in a minefield.
A glorious chapter in our municipal history.
