I've been a paid contributor to that publication.

That so?   I have contributed to 5 published books (not vanity publications) in the last 5 years and a number of specialist Magazine articles. Never asked for remuneration though. I was more concerned getting my 'version' into the record so I guess you could say it was ego. A while  back I was approached by a publisher but I have several  contacts who took up such offers  and saw how it took over their lives for several years.  I just did not have that type of commitment.

Basic fault line alert................(long list of pathetic excuses)...for your 'thought' process

Or in plain English:

'here are the excuses that show my political party are not responsible for anything that  went wrong on their watch. Unlike the other political party who are totally responsible for every single thing that went wrong on their watch.'

Your 'plain English' translation was four times longer than my comment. You've gorra laugh. ;D

Only if ye canna c(o)unt

Original flannel:

Basic fault line alert. Nk1 highlights the closure of steel and shipbuilding industries and dumps it on a MP from 60 years ago. Grays closed because they fell behind and fell by the wayside. Was the MP supposed to cough up the cash himself?
I notice you then quietly took the references to the steel industry up a dark cul de sac and quietly strangled it. Because there was always a problem with your rant against Kearns. The South Works were being built when he left office, awkward  for you eh?... and the redundancies in steel started under a Labour government when they nationalised it.. I know because I was there at the time, how you connect that to Kearns is indicative of what passes for your 'thought' process
.

My translation:

'here are the excuses that show my political party are not responsible for anything that  went wrong on their watch. Unlike the other political party who are totally responsible for every single thing that went wrong on their watch.'

A 2 line reply is four times longer than a 6 line reply!

The alternate reality of the fruitcake?

PS
Where you the bloke who counted the crowd for Trump on his Inauguration?

Inspector Knacker

I marvel at your dubious ability to produce reams of contradictory waffle when you need to prove someone wrong even when they aren't in this case.
Your seething obsession with the Tories has unbalanced you....even further.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.
