Yup everythings fine Christopher... aside from the theft allegations... Oooh and the attempting to pervert the course of justice allegations.... ooh and the leaked report into what could be various criminal acts within the Manor Residents Association... oooh and the 2nd tribunal.... ooohh and of course the secret bank account.... aside from that..... it's all totally hunky dory.

Crazy ... makes you wonder whether they're actually trying to convince themselves.  Must admit that my first thoughts on reading the headline were that it was a bit of fudging to merge the public's perception of progress re the Peer Group report with subsequent revelations, but maybe that's a little far fetched.

On a similar note, CAB was happily endorsing NEvolution in today's Mail, spouting the usual guff ... "Through all of this we will provide leadership that is accountable, visible and responsive to our communities and work in partnership with the statutory, business and third sectors to collectively drive forward continuing improvement."

You really would expect him to have twigged that it's sometimes wise to keep a low profile, wouldn't you?

Last year's Local Government Association Peer Review found the reputation and effective running of the council was being "badly damaged" How right they were 

CAB can attempt to dress this up in a fur coat, but the fact remains nothing has changed in how his grubby little group operates.

Look no further than Manor Residents as an example of what is wrong with HBC, Cab & his chums have fervently defended wilcox, talk about being two faced, spouting out about a living wage in a council meeting, & then backing up a manager who beaks the law on the minimum wage.
