Must be nice to be an Elected Labour Party Official.  When someone dumps some rubbish opposite your house you can get straight on the phone to one of your best mates and he will make a big deal about 'responding to the public'  on Facebook and  a clean-up crew are sent round instantly.

Another Hey, I'm a Councillor doing my job and actually it's all down to the cuts message?

This seems to be a new thing the Labour councillors have finally cottoned on resonates well with the public. Various independent councillors who got off their arses and actually physically did things of THEIR own backs received a lot of positive comments on social media. For example the Headland councillors (minus Doctor pothole) helping with the paddling pool. There was also Tony physically pulling sacks of pond weed out.

Within a few days CAB was posting pictures alleging he'd cleaned graffiti off road signs himself. There was also a picture of SAB stood in an alleyway looking like he was helping clear some rubbish.

Allan Barclay will be posting pictures of himself clearing up discarded cake tins next. . .

The difference being the independents were actually working and getting a sweat on. Meanwhile, the ego's were stood like Easter Islsnd statues with constipation.
A suitably accommodating 'meeeja' are showing pics of them observing the 'paid staff' working while they were not working, more like inert.
They're fooling no one.
