The billionaire businessman Donald Trump has put in charge of trade has called Brexit a "god-given opportunity" to take trade away from Britain. Wilbur Ross, the US commerce secretary designate, said "relocations" are inevitable as Britain leaves the European Union, according to the Times. He said that the UK faces a "period of confusion" and urged rivals – including Dublin and Frankfurt – to target business currently based in London in order to profit from the tumult.
