If you view the clip you might end up thinking why is he so stupid as to walk across with lights flashing but in reality he makes a very simple error.
He stops when the lights flash.
He waits until the train passes.
Thinking all is done he starts across ignoring the warnings because  the train has passed.
What he fails to  realise is that there are two trains.

The second train noise is masked by the sound of the first and a simple assumption could have had very serious consequences.

I first saw such a 'double train' clip a few years back in an American setting. People are waiting to cross a track and a train  passes them and stops just to the left of the crossing. Thinking  the danger has passed the people all start walking across behind the stopped train- then from nowhere a very high speed express hurtles from where the view was blocked by the stopped train and wipes out those first to run across. As I said a very simple mistake.
