Headland disgrace

It is now almost a week since the big storm and there has been no attempt whatsoever to clean up the area between the piers, ie the promenade and the Fish Sands.Why exactly do we pay so much council tax??

I haven't been along there today but yesterday the block sands, where the paddling pool is, is like a disaster zone. This was where the outdoor swimming pool was washed away in 1953. Whole area is covered in sand and rocks from the beach. A lot of the sandstone blocks which comprise the sea wall have been displaced. They don't make brickies like they used to.
