What’s the problem?

When Stockton Street was 're-vamped', a series of accidents around Binns corner were constantly damaging the fancy Dan safety rails. As the railings are angled back from the ground up, it should, in theory, be pretty difficult to damage them. However damage keeps occurring on a regular basis. I know some work has taken place to re-align some of the junction, but is the problem the actual road layout itself.
Has anyone also noticed when approaching this junction from the Marina Bridge travelling South, the curve in the road transposes their true position, this could prove costly to someone not conversant with the junction.
There, a local issue. ;D
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.
