The MSM. I've seen news reports today, the local ones were quite reasonable, even sensible. The National ones were creating their own crisis, a case of manufacturing your own crisis to report on....just like the Covid panic for toilet rolls etc, all aggravated by sensationalist reporting.
Thank God the MSM weren't around in 1940, we'd have been shafted.

Obviously instigated by the media, no doubt about that.

There are a few theories kicking about regarding the 'why'.

Using up old fuel after the lock-down slump being one.

Pressing forward with the new E10 fuel mix being another.

This new E 10 has really slipped in under the radar. Oddly I don't seem to be getting the same mpg out of my car....I wonder.
I mentioned it to the wife this afternoon when we took the dog out, she said she hadn't noticed as she always puts a tenner in....... ::)
