A Resident was saying yesterday that a guy from some building company was taking photos of the original bungalows,drains etc

his main concern is the traffic,with the new estate already off tanfield creates a lot and what with the new proposed houses,its going to be mad

for such a small road,also there is a speed limit of 20mph if you can see them but no one takes any notice( his words) even the f***i*g hearses,when they are

empty of course.

Wonder if builder has taken account of flooding problems when new estate built lots of graves under water

At one time the council gardeners stocked the nursery, but i seem to remember that the council outsourced the nursery side of things a number of years ago......The only thing left operating was the garden centre shop and I don't think that made a profit....LE would know exactly how things panned out there.
