Over the weekend Councillor John Tennant informed us he would be resigning his membership of the Hartlepool Independent Union to join the Reform UK Party.
He stated his decision is not a reflection of HIU or the wider Coalition, of which he will remain part of.
We wish Cllr Tennant well and we note that he moves alone with the future of HIU secured and committed to delivering for the residents of Hartlepool.

I wonder which way Shane is going to jump. My bet is back to the Tories-if they agree to make him leader!

Anways playmates we now have a member of Shanes posse who is an anti-lockdown zealot who holds views which (we are told) are 100% the opposite of the Dear Leader.
It could be worse. 'Hartlepool' could have voted in that other shape-shifter Tice. He is also a believer in letting the old and sick die to save the economy.  His current girlfriend (Isabel Oakeshott) is one of the go-to  'COVID Hoax' gobshi*tes used when the lockdown is debated on the telly.
