Brace yourselves . . .

The dynamic duo have opened up a new cafe at The Rifty. Head Chef, non other than Stephen Akers-Belcher. Oh and they do deliveries too......delivery boy Calamity Chris.

Apparently, there's a serious shortage of Food Handling Certificates not to mention Fairy Liquid if the cups, which look remarkably like old Civic cups, are anything to go by.

If you're planning a visit - take some bleach.

"Hang on! I know where we can get a £6,000 dishwasher," says Cwistopher.

Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

Maybe they're preparing for a life after politics. Maybe they're planning a twee bistro, they could call it Dripping and Lard.

How about "Kippers"

Two faced and spineless ?

Can just see them applying for Masterchef.  While they're still at the cheaper end of the culinary scale can we wonder what could be on the menu? Botulism in a bun? E-coliflower cheese?  ;) :o

It is where Ray started out. Looks like they have decided they want some of the Planning bungs action!

You can't make this up, within a quarter of a mile of the Rifty is a cafe funded by the council to the tune of £16k, is Lying Ste paying for the kitchen space and the gas, electric, water etc etc or are we, the council tax payer shelling out for the utilities of this little business...... btw who checks the validity of food hygiene certificates, is it a council department ?

It would be worth a Question at the next full council meeting  ;)

If this is true, is SAB being paid, if he is, is he getting the NMW, is CAB being paid the NMW ?

Most delivery boys I've met only get paid coppers per delivery and sit round waiting most of the time earning nothing, relying on tips for their undeclared income.

Times must be hard.
No relation to Whattheheck from the mail !

now that is a very good point fred  ;)
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment

I rode past the Masefield centre of Friday evening, the SCABMobile was parked outside, maybe they are doing an evening Sitting..... not sure I would be allowed into the place it is a council building, not sure if, because it is open to the public for meals I would qualify and I don't want to end up in the cells at the behest of a couple leading socialists..... 'Socialist rhetoric, capitalist lifestyle' who said that?
