Title: Major incident on Northgate
Post by: suvin on August 15, 2012, 05: PM
Just been to the Co-op on Northgate. 2 fire engines there and 8 fireman running about in full gear carrying ladders. House fire I thought, although I couldn,t see any smoke. As I got closer I saw a dead seagull impaled on a TV aerial. You couldn't make it up.

Car could do with a hose down by the firemen every time I visit the headland to get rid of all the seagull muck.

Car hand wash could be a good way for the fire service to cope with funding cuts.

I don't think they have the room for a boot sale like the NHS.

My sympathy is with the Fire Brigade. They probably had to interupt a decent game of snooker for this. ;)
