As I'm sat (bored) in a bar somewhere downtown-nowhere in Germany (where all the rubbish bins seem quite fine, and the urban transport system works like a dream!) and was just thinking of what HBC might stand for!!

Back to the Rifty.....are Toot and Ploot so imbecilic that they think they will get away with such a travesty? OK, the Yeti is undoubtedly unemployable, the flow of brown envelopes doesn't last forever, the wannabe lifestyle takes some creative maintenance especially when BMWs are on the aspiration list, the Botox bills alone must account for most of the 31% pay rise, but for GS, do they really think that even the Sheeple of H'pool don't see right through their pathetic manipulations??
Vote the scum out at the next opportunity. All you posters and your - /family/friends etc get out on the streets of their areas, knock on doors, post well created leaflets, tell people a truth that they don't see in :- the snail, the HBC press releases. It won't happen without a concerted effort by all that still think H'pool is worth saving.

My hackles bristled when I read the comment from sCab about the plate of 'food'.

This is the man that took tens of thousands of pounds from HBC over alleged hate crimes regarding his homosexuality. 
And yet, when it suits, he can make a sexual innuendo about the sausage on the plate.
If any of 'us' had made such a sexual innuendo he would have been knocking on Devlin's door, crying 'hate crime'.     

What a hypocrite.
Writing of which, I see in the council rag a list of contact numbers for various issues. The first one? A telephone number for 'hate crime'. 
After a long list of issues/numbers, the number for the police comes last! 

Mind you, the police love 'hate crime'. Easily solved, no evidence required, just the word of an alleged offended person.
Or even the word of someone that informs the alleged offended person of the 'hate crime'.

I'm glad I have seen the best years of my life and the crap and dross we have these days will be much shorter.

I know of at least 3 people, 1 being a councillor who have had police officers at their door, at the behest of those who have long track records of abuse and bullying of members of the public and council employees, the same people are the first to jump on the homphobic and bullying  bandwagon........... there's one rule for them and another rule for thosewho object to their hypocrisy.

It appears the snowflake Trump is desperate to erase all trace of his history of disparaging a man (Roy Moore)who he now has to work with politically. Despite Trump calling  Moore worse that shyte and openly mocking and insulting him Trump  had to eat his words and does not want any evidence left showing  his duplicity. Trump will  now suck-up to the man he formerly insulted and hope no one kept screen grabs of the original  tweets. Anyone who knows Trump will not be surprised by this attempt to re-write the record and will have made sure they kept a copy of everything before it was erased.

I am glad we live in the UK where such behaviour is condoned. Imagine  the embarrassment of  spending years calling someone names and then finding yourself in a position of having to promote this person and his friends because you now believe the greater good of his group (which is  now also your group) overrides your personal opinion that he is corrupt.  I am confident no one in the UK would succumb to the temptation to ape Trump and (for example) start deleting years of old Facebook posts. It would be pointless anyway because there is always the possibility someone has, as in the case of Trump's tweets, already copied them.

This underhand way of driving firms out of business has become increasingly common in recent times. Its like the way Traveller feuds now take the form of  opposing families driving stolen trucks into each others houses.
Anyway  the most glaring example was on York Road where a Nail shop had to move and the Estate Agents that took over was also forced out.







Crowds constantly blocked the entrance and intimidated customers. Despite complaints the Police were unable to stop the gatherings.
No one was ever able to explain why these crowds congregated outside the shop.
