Council Meetings for July

HARTLEPOOL Council has announced its meetings schedule for July and is encouraging members of the public to hear the discussions and see how decisions are made.

Under the arrangements for meetings, members of the public can ask questions at the Council's five main policy committees and policy chairs are also available to face questions from the public between the two community forum meetings.

Members of the public are also able to ask two questions at Full Council meetings although they have to give advance notice for these meetings.

All the meetings will be held in the Civic Centre unless otherwise stated. They are as follows:

Monday 3 July

2.00pm - Neighbourhood Services Committee

Tuesday 4 July

4.00pm - Children's Services Committee

Wednesday 5 July

10.00am - North and Coastal Community Forum
1.00pm - South and Central Community Forum

Friday 7 July

10.00am - Constitution Committee

Monday 10 July

10.00am - Finance and Policy Committee

Wednesday 12 July

10.00am - Planning Committee

Thursday 13 July

10.00am - Adult Services Committee

Monday 17 July

2.00pm - Regeneration Services Committee

Tuesday 18 July

10.00am - Children's Strategic Partnership (to be held at the Centre for Independent Living, Havelock Street, Hartlepool TS24 7LT)

Wednesday 19 July

10.00am - Audit and Governance Committee

Monday 24 July

10.00am - Finance and Policy Committee
1.00pm - Regeneration Services Committee
3.00pm - Neighbourhood Services Committee

Tuesday 25 July

4.00pm - Children's Services Committee

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings. However, under the Local Government Act 1972 relating to confidential and exempt information, the public may be asked to leave the meeting on some occasions.

Additional meetings may be arranged, details of which will be displayed at the Civic Centre and http://www.hartlepool.gov.uk/.  Anyone intending to attend a meeting is advised to check that the date, time and venue have not changed by telephoning telephone 01429 523568.
