Phillip,can you explain to people this "free at the point of use",doesn't this mean that you still allow it to be privatised and we pay for it through extra taxation?.

We already pay for the NHS through taxation don't we?

Isn't all taxation extra? I pay taxation that funds schools but I don't have any children, I pay taxation that funds illegal wars that I object to us being invoved in, I pay taxation to fund a fire brigade but I've never dialled 999, I pay taxation to fund the police force and then pay extra taxation if I do 31 in a 30mph limit, I pay taxation that funds the EU but I think we'd be better off out, I pay taxation that funds overseas aid to countries that have their own space progra and nuclear weapons.  The list goes on and on! How can you diferentiate "extra" taxation for the NHS from all the other taxation we pay. If you want a real discrace in NHS funding then look no further than the PFI, another great Labour Legacy!
