Title: Safer Hartlepool Speed Camera
Post by: dangerman on April 16, 2012, 05: PM
Went to A19 via Elwick this morning there was White Transit Van waiting to catch anyone over the 30mph both directions. No problem with that.

BUT...it was parked on the South side of the road half way up the bank. ON THE BUS STOP!

A law for one and a law for another.

I wonder why?????

I recommend the "Road Angel" although being poor I only have a "Snooper".

My favourite ploy is to stick to the speed limit... ::)

It should not have been parked on a Bus Stop.

We're prosecuted.... H.B.C are not. Why?

The Highway Code.. it's a fixed penalty offence.

I remember the Camera Car catching anyone stopping even for a matter of seconds getting a fixed penalty.

Phil Hepburn from H.B.C.

STATED IN THE MAIL ANYONE PARKED AT A BUS STOP WILL BE FINED.
