I think they've come off the rails but that doesn't mean that people won't go on blindly voting for them

I suspect that next May's elections could prove distinctly interesting. Labour has already lost two of it's more intelligent councillors in Brash and Hargreaves (who are likely to retain their seats as Independents), and no doubt PHF will be snapping at Labour's heels.

I suspect that you may be correct Lucy Lass-Tick. There isn't a great deal of talent left in the local Labour group, as i said previously i was prepared to put my head on the pedastal and stand as a Labour candidate, but one, given my views on here (so far) i would never get selected, and two I would not stand for a Party which no longer is attached to any of its roots.

These past few months have been nothing but a joke if your a Labour supporter, if it weren't for the good people on this site, we wouldn't be aware of how inept this lot really are! This is one cross in the box they won't be getting come election time!

DRiddle

QuoteDRiddle I was thinking of doing exactly the same, but know it is pretty much pointless! Are you a Labour Member? At the end of the day i'm paying my dues at the minute to something which i can no longer support!

We could start a revolution i suppose!

Hi Arc, i'm not a fully paid up member as such, although I am a socialist at heart. It's just difficult to fly that flag in Hartlepool because it's been tarnished beyond belief by the actions of a few. I just try to do what I can through my work and chipping in on here.

You should still write to Iain. It might do some good to show that it's not just a few who have realised how bad things have got. The message is getting out there... slowly.
