So, Thompson should have known that he'd be timed out and made sure his comments were concise and forceful and within the time.

Still missing the point, he did finish within his time but the chosen ones can prattle away untouched. Surely your point should be directed at chosen ones. It's a bit like criticising a starving child for eating his meagre ration while the bloated kids carry on stuffing their faces on troubled.

Whether I'm missing the point or not I'm offering my opinion. I think Thompson is a blustering windbag. You may disagree and that's fine.

In fairness to Thompson he's a brilliant orator compared to Labour councillor Brash. He can send amphetemine to sleep.

I have to admit, I had my differences with the then Cllr Brash,but his oratory wasn't one of them, after the LabMob binned him, he engaged in numerous 'Debates' with LabMob councillors and he tore them up for a**epaper on every occasion, in was cringeworthy in the extreme for the Labsters, but extremely entertaining for the indies and the public......

ok he did grandstand occasionally, but it was worth it to see him make complete tw*ts of labour councillors who couldn't even spell debate
