4 Hour Wait for Ambulance

What a story for highlighting the complete absence of humanity which now permeates the health services. A woman is left for 4 hours in agony with a broken leg waiting for an ambulance by the insensitive, box-ticking ambulance service because a computer has decided her condition is not 'life-threatening'.

I can see a time when such an inhuman response will itself become 'life-threatening' to the call-monkey answering the 999 call.
