I wrote to him on a number of subjects such as the cutting of the hospital shuttle bus service and he never responded once.

He runs his correspondence like a Facebook page. If he thinks you are not 'one of us' then you get blocked.
A habit he picked up from his  éminence grise.

I was told that the A&E in Hartlepool will never come back because it does not have the necessary support departments to allow it to function, there is more to it than the A&E area and staff, but worse that there is now an Urgent Care Unit at North Tees Hospital.

Its odds on that the A&E at North Tees is going the way of the Dodo. That leaves the people of Hartlepool with even further to go to see a Doctor in an emergency.

The A19 has not been fit for purpose for 20 years and the South bound road is a car park from 7:30 to 09:00hrs.

How many more will shuffle off their mortal coil in the back of an ambulance trying to get to Marton? If we had a decent journalist in the town I am sure they could find out and make it known how many have ended their days in that fashion. The extra time it will take to cover the extra miles to make it to James Cook will contribute to the demise of those who might have made it to North Tees, but will run out of time thanks to the extra travel time needed.
When it closes, we'll all be expected to go through to James Cook, if you have a car that is.
However, what we'll get is daily tales on the media telling us how the hospital is run  off it's feet with patients turning up at A&E and asking them basically not to, visit your local witch if you have to, but avoid A&E. But, people will turn up, because when you get round to closing 2 out of 3 A&E departments, the remaining one will be swamped.
It's basic maths which the suits and the media chose to blatantly ignore. If you live in Hartlepool, such facilities are going to become even more inaccessible.

He is banging on about it again today

He will of course ignore the fact that The National Labour Party and The Local Labour Party were all gung-ho for the original closure and agreed with every step of the moving of services south.   Very easy to posture when you know that not a word you say is going to make the slightest difference to the outcome. Hill was active in Local Labour when the original closures were ongoing so what did he do about it at that time?

Here you can see him in 2010  skulking around with his fellow-creatures of opportunity trying to claim credit for the 'new' Hospital

Another meaningless article, this will be allowed to go ahead and the LabTor council will wave it through planning, completely ignoring the fact the 'Desire for Double Decker Bus' outweighed the need for an A&E department.

There are umpteen articles and reams of council minutes that all point to the complicity of Labour in the downgrading of the hospital, countless meetings, public marches, thousands of names on a petition, all ignored by those who are still in power.

He's the night watchman with time to fill, so he bangs out these page fillers complete with photo to keep remind people who he is and not Rigby.
It's the old, old routine of banging out the drumbeat to the same people so the message sticks, basically Vote Labour, we are cuddly and fluffy.
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

This is what was purchased with the bung grant SAB got for signing off on the Hospital closure. A bus so rusty it was scrapped not long after. Another successful venture from the dynamic Duo!

mike Hill knows how to play the game, he picks what is most important at the time to the people and he latches on, he puts himself right at the front in the limelight so it looks like he is doing his utmost to help.  In reality he is doing nothing but talk to people.  The good doctor was not allowed to speak at the Middleton Cabins meeting so Mike Hill who is a rank above stepped up at the end and tried to steal the show. Unfortunatley we all knew he did nothing for them, he even did not turn up to the first meeting he had arranged with them. But for people watching the video and reading the papers he used the good doctors ploy and told all he had spent weeks helping .
I come from Northallerton, and we had a similar fight with the Friarage Hospital and we had William Hague as our MP, he did the same as your Iain Wright did and now Mike Hill, he did lots of talks in the local newspapers but did not actually 'do' anything at all.

Hill back on the Hospital Bandwagon in today's Mail

https://www.facebook.com/hartlepoolmailnews/posts/1828040310549144

Same old same old. What is 'new' is the absence of Anth defending against the overwhelmingly negative reception Hill normally gets.
It seems Anth has phoned up Momentum Head Office and asked them to send a couple of shill posters to support   Hill. We have the return of London based Preston

Why are the locals so reluctant to support Hill?
