Looks like they have managed to get the muzzle back on Beanz.  I knew he would be quickly silenced once they realised he was off the leash again.

I thought I would  repost Shanes reply to Fred (copied from facebook)  giving his response to the mute UKIP charges:

Fred, you and I see eye to eye on many things but the constant false claim that UKIP councillors don't act or put forward anything 'local' is nonsense.

It was UKIP that actually read the paperwork prior to the meeting on Teesside Mayor and not only pointed out the proposal to allow another levy to be added to our Council tax for transport projects but put forward a motion which meant no such levy could be charged to the rate payers of this town without it first being raised, debated and voted on at OUR full council.

It was UKIP that highlighted the issue with having a Labour councillor as the deputy chair of audit and governance (effectively puts an actual labour councillor as the chair should RMW not turn up - which is unconstitutional). That is in the process of being rectified.

Our councillors also make much more representation at committee meeting, where the actual day to day business of Council takes place. Not just grandstanding at full council meetings.

Many of the suggestions you have given I'd happily support. In fact some of them I already have - I first brought up the union subsidy at Council many moons ago. I voted in favour of cutting milage allowances recently at a meeting of Finance & Policy. It was UKIP & PHF who stood up to make that exact case re ceremonial Mayor by proposing and seconding Cllr Lauderdale as the Mayor and as Deputy Mayor when he was screwed out of the former.

So you see, Fred when you actually take notice of what we do in meetings rather than relying solely on the biased 'reporting' on High Tax Hartlepool, you'll notice we are being a constructive opposition and already work with other opposition councillors to ensure the ruling mob are brought to task.

Shane seems to have forgotten I was a regular attendee at council meetings until I was banned for disrespectful conduct by the Borough Solicitor at the behest of the CEO & at least 2 party leaders....... strange that CAB as the Labour Leader didn't see fit to run along to Devlins office to complain about Lying Ste's behaviour, in fact he was complicit in it by travelling to Portsmouth with him........ I don't believe he had anything to say about Craneys misogynistic & abusive comments to members of the public, apart from saying he (Craney) was an asset to the council.

Spot the Kippers. I see 3 have I missed any?

In the above the wording  on new signage is being worked out. The design of the planned  12ft x 8ft 'No Dogs & No Immigrants'  boards hit a snag when no one knew  how to spell it all and a chit is being filled out for dictionary from Smiths!
Is the younger bloke with glasses  this man from  the audience at the infamous Hartlepool 'Question Time'?

I had to re-read that last paragraph, I thought it read 'no dogging'.  I wondered if UKIPPers have a policy on that issue, could Tom explain?

Given the total lack of women in this UKIP front organisation I suspect 'dogging' is the closest they  will ever get to female company. Most  far-right parties are exclusively white  male (forget the token women and the token ethnics  doughnuting the leader at  photo opportunities) and they  all  get pis*ed, discuss football and act  manly whilst secretly lusting after each other. The National Front was wick with closet Homosexuals and Martin Webster (NF Leader) made no secret of his 4 year affair with Nick Griffiths (BNP Leader) so I see no reason why UKIP would be the first far Right Group to break the mould!

Those pictures of the Kippers are frightening. If you to.d someone that each and every one of them was a serial killer, they'd believe you.

Wasn't the bloke second left in the bottom pic in a couple of Carry On films?

Note the puzzlement in the letters section as to what Broughton is doing in the pic.
Members here who know it is UKIP making sure it has something to put in its election pamphlets.

shouldn't their locally elected representative be sorting this cr@p out

isn't that what they get expenses for  ;D ;D ;D
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment
