The Sports Domes wish to update its Members and Function clients with regards ongoing works at the Sports Domes facility.
It has been necessary for the safety of our Members and the Public to undertake essential works in order to rectify an integral fault.
Once this repair is complete the facility will be back open as normal. Unfortunately it has proved necessary to make several statements in order to put a stop to all the scaremongering on Social Media..........................................The Sports Domes Hi Guys, I can assure you that if we are not going to be open you will be notified in ample time but we are working flat out to resolve issue on site and have not yet been told otherwise that we wont be open at the weekend. Please note the gates are closed due to what is mentioned in the statement released this morning that we have a H&S issue on site and need to stop unauthorized people entering the facility as have tried to earlier........................Thanks for the update, some people want to appear like they have information they don't have because their cousin's mate's dogwalker maybe saw police there.............................

in response to requests from several of our members, we are happy to confirm to all our members that The Sports Domes and in-particular The Football Dome and Gym have not closed indefinitely as is being disrespectfully posted on various social media outlets and will reopen on or before Friday 8th April 2016 once health and safety officers are satisfied that the work undertaken has been successfully completed.

I feel sorry for the  dupe who is running the Facebook page as  they having to explain why they are deleting all posts (the majority) that mention the Electric Bill or Brians recent business fail.
Perhaps those with a facebook ID can post  there and see how long  before the unwelcome comment is removed. I think about 5 minutes.

At the domes- oddly first time in two years I have seen this whole place was in darkness overnight no power on carpark lights etc.

Domes team can say what they like on social media. They should have emailed all members and said we are closed until....at the moment people are driving down and trying to get in to use facilities paid for.

Not everyone spends their lives wandering around Facial Book and Twatter.

There have been security stood at gates for almost three weeks checking people coming in and out if you asked whats going on comment was "no comment". This morning vans arrived with a few cars and they are picking up litter!!

The golf dome partially deflated again around 1400 yesterday-twice in two days.

Weird little things happening like a  massive drive to get new members and the scanner at reception has disappeared . Regarding the so called Gym of the town award presented oddly by the Mail - maybe thats why comments have been removed off mail website.

Oddly nothing been reported on BBC local radio or TV.
