Shane Moore: making it up as he goes along?

UKIP's latest defect (and new Vice Chairman) Shane Moore hasn't always had such close ties with Farage's party... He goes as far as to call them a party that thrives on "politics of division" with a "them & us" message. His tweets (linked below) beg the question- did he jump ship in a careerist move after Hartlepool UKIP's second place in May- or  is he just making it up as he goes along?

Either way, Shane seems happy to have abandoned his principles in a bid to climb Hartlepool UKIP's greasy ladder... Perhaps he's got more in common with them than first meets the eye...

I realise the advantages  of hiving off a few Tory voters to add to the UKIP vote and I am hoping this is a cynical ploy to use UKIP for your own ends. Carswell has shown how  a sharp operator can run rings around the UKIP cyphers and take control of things. Keep the loonies at arms length and you may succeed.
I do not envy you the Party Meetings. I know Ray was a tosser but your new friends are in a different league.

I think May 2016 will see an awful lot of this kind of thing. I'm pretty sure I could predict Labours Seaton candidate now for example.

I also think we might see the return of one or two of the previous electoral mayoral candidates return to the local political scene.

At the end of the day all Shane is guilty of is joining a racist, misogynist, homophobic, uncaring, intolerant, right wing bunch of fascists.

Meaning Ray being from the original political party the Conservatives which Shane was a part of until his defection to UKIP!

It was a joke that played to the perceptions of your average UKIP supporter with a clever twist that mocked the Conservatives.
Perhaps a sense of humour is now considered a 'left wing trait' and as such no longer welcome in the world of the bong-eyed?

What may also be pointed out that a lot of people who were Labour supporters moved to UKIP after they had experienced and realised the true situation of THE MOB that runs Hartlepool!

Point taken kind Sir, all I can say in my defence is wrong people,  wrong time, and until last month I was unaware of any contract, for myself can I apologize for that outcome., caution is called for if you still have that will, if not I completely understand.
