UKIP is in meltdown. The back-stabbing and dirty-tricks being used to  prevent  'the wrong'  people running for party leader puts the current Labour contest in the shade.

It means Ukip's only MP, Douglas Carswell, and Suzanne Evans, who is temporarily suspended from the party, will not be able to enter the contest.
Ms Evans said the decision was "ridiculous" and accused the NEC of "changing the rules as it goes along".
She said: "I cannot imagine a decision more ridiculous and more likely to bring Ukip into disrepute than one which means people such as Douglas Carswell and Mark Reckless, our current and former MPs, and the latter also a Welsh AM, cannot stand, despite the huge dedication they have shown to the party and their current elected positions.
"I hope the new leader will allow members to attend NEC meetings unless confidential information is being discussed; publish the minutes; and set up a 'right of recall' so NEC members are accountable to members.
"At the moment, frankly, by operating in secret; changing the rules as it goes along; and being totally unaccountable, it is behaving like the EU."

Even then other candidates are being kept off by dirty tricks.

Mr Woolfe had been seen as the favourite to replace Nigel Farage but he has now been banned from the leadership race.
Ukip bosses had ruled out Mr Woolfe's candidacy due late submission of nomination papers.Mr Woolfe blamed the late submission on "technical problems on the party system" on the day that nomination closed.

Mind you he does have a terrible memory. The poor man even forgot he had a speeding conviction.

UKIP leadership hopeful Steven Woolfe has admitted failing to disclose a drink-driving ban when seeking election as a police and crime commissioner.
Mr Woolfe told Huffington Post he "forgot about the conviction" from 2002 when he stood for election in 2012 - in a possible breach of electoral law.
He got a £350 fine and nine-month ban for being drunk in charge of a scooter.

Also the Wales Branch of UKIP has gone rouge and appears to be declaring independence.

Chris Smart, the acting chairman of UKIP in Wales, has said he believed Mr Gill has automatically been expelled as the deadline has passed, He told BBC Radio Wales' Sunday Supplement programme: "On the 31 of July, the NEC resolved to expel Nathan Gill from the party membership, effective Sunday 7 August, unless he either resigns as an AM or as an MEP."

UKIP just another lying cheating political party hoping to replace one of the other lying cheating political parties.
