she's due in court tomorrow appealing against a compensation order to a former landlord.

Will she turn up thou ? Well all know what she's like.......place an appeal and not turn up !!

Wilcox has done the unthinkable and actually turned up this afternoon but she's now claiming that she's having a panic attack and for some reason doesn't want the landlord's wife to be allowed into the courtroom.

Wonder who the bailiff was who tipped her off.Bet his firm isn't too pleased when they find out.

So what can this landlord do now??

If what Wilcox said is true (and she did name the bailiff concerned) then the bailiff company or court bailiffs have some explaining to do. Both the Landlord and the Tribunal victims have been burdened by what appear to be very reluctant bailiffs who have been very half-hearted in pursuing Wilcox given that she is still living at the same known address.

If Wilcox runs true to form she still won't pay a penny so its still down to the bailiffs to start behaving like - well bailiffs.

I read this as Wilcox saying her appeal was late because she knew nothing about the original order as she had moved and not got the paperwork.  She claims she only found out 'by chance' when her friend (the Baliff) mentioned it.
It is all bollocks anyway and just her twisting facts to explain away her duplicity.

I had a long chat with Peter Freeth after the case was heard and he said that he was gob-smacked when she said what she did about the bailiff - as was the Judge. No mention of 'having moved' and not received the letter. As you say, either way it doesn't change the facts of the matter... she still won't pay.
