D Riddell needs no testimonial from me, I have known him for 5 or 6 years, we speak when we bump into each which is usually at council meetings, in that time I have never heard him raise his voice, I have great difficulty in believing he has bullied anyone let alone a member of the fair sex..... what I have seen, is his stoicism and level headedness in the face of severe provocation from within the council chamber.

Are you forgetting the time he reduced a spectator at a local count to a heap of quivering jelly? The man was so brutally treated he fled to safety behind a local Police officer and begged that Riddle be kept away from him as he was in fear  for his life. All that prevented this individual from collapsing on the spot was the knowledge that if he did go down his  bestest buddy Ray Wells was the only  person around him who was qualified to give  mouth-to-mouth resuscitation!
