Cornering is tricky.....................

 About 30 mins ago. (c15:00) Junction of St Paul's road with Thornton street. Car just kept going straight ahead.

Sometimes this dogleg junction IS very awkward.  Many moons ago, HBC were planning to paint double yellow lines opposite the junction, up to the corner of Osborne Rd, in order to make the gap wider for two cars to pass.  I was nearly hit a few days ago (in my car!) as the driver had to move to the centre of the road to avoid a parked car!  I don't suppose that the accident today was due to the tight junction (who knows?) but I'm sure there are many accidents waiting to happen there.
