Going on in his column in the Mail about poor local services....  a lot of which I actually agree with  .......however...... buses were deregulated in the 1980's and between then and now we had a Labour government in power for 13 years who did nothing to change things... funny how under private ownership we have less competion than we had when buses were publicly owned......
It appears we have less services but the buses are painted bonny colours....... it's all about presentation.
