It is impossible to physically be in 2 places at once, and that is why some people cannot contemplate being councillors.
How can you attend a council meeting AND be at your place of work ?
It is wholly unfair to shoot down those that care  about the town but are not in the privileged position to stand as a councillor.

The council only meets once a month. Why don't they get rid of some of the daytime committees and have more frequent full council meeting instead held on an evening. That way every Councillor would get the chance to have an input rather than be presented with 'done deals'.
