No council tribute for D-Day

We have a number of posters on here who have been Councillors for years.Are you telling me that not one of them knew that it wasn't the Council who organised these events.Rubbish.

As I've said pensionater, we're dealing with 2 completely separate issues. The issue of why there wasn't an event has been explained in The Mail's article. The issue of why there was not so much as a floral tribute from the council has not been explained. Nor is it likely to be by the sounds of it...
