The trustees are closing the organisation down.
Not a surprise considering what a poor job they have done for the last year.
Their public presence has been pathetic.
I wonder if it was deliberate ?

Hard to know what to make of the whole affair.
One thing for sure, the kids that attended Red Dreams are going to lose out the most.
I hope The Studio or some other organisation offers their services as an alternative.

I suspect most people do know who the real culprits are in this. Lets see what the CPS make of it which could be any day now. Police obviously think there is enough evidence. It's very interesting to see who is making the most fuss and noise in this matter, really vicious and potentially very libellous too.

I do seem to remember one of the founders making a real fuss about something or other on here a while ago. Wasn't he being so cryptic that NO bugger actually knew what he was on about ?

One of the 'founders' posted under an alias and then spoke about themselves in glowing terms.
When this was exposed the forum suffered a mysterious crash/loss of data that appeared to be someone trying to remove all record of this deception.

Because nearly everything was wiped by someone who wanted to erase all the evidence that they were as dubious and underhand as the critics were claiming. It did not fit with the followers claims they were 'the victims' in all this.
I have to say that the whistleblower who posted the info about the misuse of funds was treated very badly here and in the end just stopped posting.
Being anally retentive I screen grabbed a lot of it. I have it safely tucked away for when the proverbial merde eventually hits the furiously rotating air circulating electrical appliance.

yes M1 factualandroid posted a lot of info with proof along with it i remember it well and yes he stated he came to do what he needed to do which was to prove there was wrongdoing and would not post again very informative
Just to keep you informed, Red Dreams may have closed but lessons, classes etc are still going ahead in other venues so kids are not missing out. They are now Creative Minds

Something rather odd then happened as just after this deception was exposed the Forum was
hacked and the compromising posts were deleted by an outside party.
No other posts or any other threads were removed.
I'm not denying that silly things happened on this forum, however, the CPS have stated no further action.
The way some people blackened the Macmanus's character was savage, it now appear they have no case to answer. Much damage has been done and long term relationship wrecked.
In my opinion the people who used Red Dream have lost a valuable asset.

Not quite correct.
If there was no case to answer the file would never have gone to the CPS. The very fact this happens means there was
something.What the CPS do is decide if the chance of a conviction is high enough to risk a court case. That means a very high standard of proof is needed. If the CPS think there is enough doubt they drop the case. No one is ever declared innocent.

I personally saw Red Dreams do an awful lot of good in the community.

Isn't ironic that in this case what people see as over zealous trustees are criticised, rightly or wrongly, yet with MRA the trustees seemed to be at the other end of the spectrum with some of them resigning before they denied being part of it. If Rifty House is set up as a charity, which they should with the amount of both our money and donated money going their way, it will be interesting to see who the trustees will be. I'm sure they will be hand picked.

That is the argument Anth would use to excuse their support of the SCAB Cabal. They may be 'corrupt' but on balance they do more harm than good. I know for a fact that is the excuse used to excuse the Wilcox fraud.
If someone raises £10,000 for charity, keeps £1000 and hands over £9000 are they to be lauded?

The problem I see is that personal friendship is blinding common sense. It is fatal to assume just because you 'know' someone they can do wrong.

What do you mean the impact the trustees actions had on the kids? It kept going after the Macmanus's were suspended and carried on after Red Dreams closed and changed to Creative Minds. The kids are still there! My own kid still went until very recently.
