My Grandson works as a carer escorting young adults on days out in the community he took his charge to Pound stretcher Brenda road where a Police vehicle was parked on the grass.

Rear of B&Q.

He's a lad who cares about the environment so he asked, Why are you parked on the grassed area when you should be parked on the road?

This was ignored by those in the vehicle. Again saying to them look you are not above the law and you should set an example.

HE WAS TOLD TO F**K OFF and mind his own business.

I will be taking this matter up with the Divisional Commander & The Chief Constable.

It is not illegal to park on grass and he shouldn't be questioning the police when they may be on a specific operation.
If he confronted me about it i would have told him to fuc* of* too.

Ah! GD they are public servants, there to defend the public not abuse them.
"Get lost, please" would have been more polite.

Stig of the Seaton Dump

Anybody that tells another person to eff off deserves all the disrespect they get

A specific Operation that stops them walking a few yards ...hmmm

Was it as good as this parking ? ....

I don't believe it.

Anyone sad enough, like me, to occasionally find themselves watching one of those Police 'fly-on-the-wall' programmes, will know how often the Police regard being sworn at by a member of the public as 'the line not to be crossed'. Usually anyone swearing at a Police Officer is warned and then arrested if they do it again.

A case of Practice What You Preach, methinks and of a 'I have a uniform and can therefore do what I like' mentality.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

It was not a special operation they were parked on the grassed area near the ponds, the young man my grandson was in charge of repeats what he hears and has learning difficulties.

He 'my grandson' made a polite enquiry to a public servant 'police' NOT mouthing off at them.

They could have given a reply to his question without using profanity. He does not use such language so why should a police officer?

I contacted Hartlepool Police 'York Road'  TWICE still waiting for them to get back in touch over this matter. I won't hold my breath. Closing Ranks I expect.

Cleveland Police have at the last count 9 Senior Members of its staff who have been either Sacked, Procecuted, or Under Investigation.

So its just as well somebody decided to ask Questions about the behaviour displayed by some officers.

The only specific operation plod will have been on at B&Q, is stuffing their faces with burgers from the burger van. :)

You have hit the nail right on the head. That's exactly what they were doing.
