A TRUST which provides care for 365,000 people has got on board to back a Hartlepool Mail competition.


The Best of Health awards has once again won the sponsorship support of the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.

Today, its chief executive Alan Foster urged the public to get behind the competition.

Mr Foster said: "We are pleased to give Hartlepool Mail readers the opportunity to say thank you to our staff for the care and compassion they have shown to patients over the last year.

"We believe it is very important to thank our staff for the work that they do and the Hartlepool Mail Best of Health awards helps us to provide this recognition to them. We are pleased these awards exist because they are yet another way that people can show their thanks and appreciation to our staff for the difference they have made to their lives
