Title: ONE LIFE 'AGAIN'
Post by: tankerville on April 10, 2013, 03: PM
Here we go again, yesterday morning the kids were playing on their bikes one of them went crashing to the ground, their mother took her to One Life Centre.

One Life phoned 999 taken to North Tees time 12.30pm.

Waited to be seen by A&E and examined at 11.30pm... No that's not a mistake finally allowed to go home 12.30am.

They apologised saying it was a shortage of staff /doctors as to why they had to wait so long.

This poor little girl had nothing to eat for all that time, they had to make their own way home by whatever means they could.

She is fine. No bones broken or any other serious injuries 'thankfully' and back playing in the street but not on her bike.

I'm sure everything that has been echoed on here will be said again, but the clear message is RETURN OUR A&E TO HARTLEPOOL HOSPITAL.

Absurd.

I think we need a list of what OLC can cope with because the list of things with which they can't cope is far, far too long. As for the 11 hours wait - what can you say? Pathetic.

Unfortunately our OLC is not the only one with problems
