Boris fails again.....................

Yesterday was full of news headlines saying Boris was expected to make a 'Statement' at 7 pm announcing a deal but it never happened. What was going on?
In fact Boris had picked the 7pm time because he wanted all the next day newspaper headlines to be claiming he got a deal. It was a deliberate move that had no other aim but to bolster his image and dominate the news cycle. It seems Ursula did not want to play ball and so she cancelled her press conference that was supposed to happen at the same time. It seems this may have been deliberate because by making the announcement today she denied Boris his acres of headline-no papers on Christmas day-smart move by the lady. Boris always messes things up.
Given he and his sidekick got on her wrong side by turning up to meet her looking like tramps



and then crassly telling her that 'now the Frenchies  (Barnier) are out of the way we can strike a deal' it was inevitable she would return the insult.
