Mr Rutte's full-page ad appeared on Monday in several Dutch newspapers and he gave further details in an interview with the daily, Algemeen Dagblad (AD).

He singled out the case of bus company Qbuzz that was censured by the Dutch human rights institute for turning down an immigrant applying for the job of bus driver because he refused to shake women's hands. It found that shaking hands was not a key part of the job whereas the man's freedom of religion was affected.

"I think it's a bizarre verdict," he told AD. "Qbuzz is of course absolutely right. Surely a driver can't say 'I refuse to shake a woman's hand because it doesn't fit my beliefs'?

"That's precisely why I and many other people are rebelling. Because the norm here is that you shake hands with each other."
Mr Rutte also complained about anti-social behaviour on public transport and on the streets, but particularly targeted those who refused to adapt to Dutch values, harassed women in short skirts and gay men, and branded ordinary people as racists.

"If you live in a country where you get so annoyed with how we deal each other, you have a choice. Get out! You don't have to be here!"

Before the Bogeyed/UKIP/Islamphobia button is pressed I don't give a rats what a persons belief system is as long as they do not try and FORCE it on other and expect laws to be changed to accommodate their beliefs.

Sounds just like the Scotsmen you  know who told you last week Nicola Sturgeon with her 63% of the popular vote was 'unpopular ' in Scotland!

Anyway these bong-eyed  far-right looney parties are effectively emasculated by the PR System. They will not form a government even if they top the polls.

Few people seem to think that Wilders has a real chance of leading the country, even if he does manage to hold on to his polling lead and come out top in elections next March. ROFLMA Working with Scots= 1 job Working with Dutch= previous job. It's known as working for a living with a multicultural work force. Certainly opens your eyes to what is happening across europe. That's not the same as harvesting links of news sites and youtube to try and support opinions not based on actual life....

  Religious beliefs should be down to the individual- kept away from politics, law and state. Nobody has the right to demand preferential treatment because they BELIEVE something or to expect laws to be changed. Lunacy at it's best, the same as believing we should have open unrestricted access to UK from Europe....something else the Dutch are kicking back against and Merkel admitted was a "mistake".

Some are worse than others- nothing to do with colour ( just to defuse your usual grenade damp squib, before you throw it  )- just insane 14th century beliefs that tell them to kill none believers, I don't recall demonstrations outside the Sally Army demanding we all follow their beliefs or get killed...or Priests preaching if we kill none believers we will go to heaven.

Obviously the Dutch have had enough. The Federal republic of Europe is crumbling...a domino effect is building momentum following on from our vote for independence. Can't wait.....

I think you need to check the numbers for terror attacks in The UK and Germany.
The German experience pales in comparison to the  number of attacks in the UK. I know you would prefer to only  look at attacks by brown skinned non christian people but the far right in Germany have killed more people than your bogey-man 'Islamic terrorists'. Indeed  German home grown terror/xenophobic  group killings dwarf the number and casualties caused by 'Foreign' terrorists.

Attacks in the UK have been far far more numerous than in Germany. Again home grown killers  massively outnumber 'foreigner' attacks. The damage caused by 2 IRA bombs in London brought Lloyd's to the brink of bankruptcy and caused damage estimated to be just shy of £2 billion!
There is no question that Germany is a far safer place than the UK.
