Another Day in Hartlepool

Perhaps it's just the weather or the now obvious end of Summer but browsing through the Mail today I'm faced with one story headlined "Police had to threaten knife-wielding teen with taser at Hartlepool drinking hotspot" and another "Reveller has skull fractured outside Hartlepool pizza shop" while elsewhere in the paper the Mail staff seem to think that we should be celebrating because a film production company found the town to be the perfect backdrop for "A Violent tale of 70s Britain."

The end of Summer is always a depressing time but The Mail certainly isn't helping right now.
