On TTV news tonight. A new dedicated A&E centre in Northumberland. Patients will be shipped in from 40 or 50 miles away in shuttle buses Consultants will be available 24/7 and there will also be a walk-in facility 24/7.

This  is what you get when you let the bean counters and health professionals run the system to suit their needs and vague theories of efficiency....they see the patients as units in the system.
They're out of touch in their own shiney new ultra efficient world.
