notenoughsaid; according to contributors to HTH (and documents produced on here) MD and the ex chief exec. met at a conference in Sunderland, a long time before the tall stories. Nothing to do with drummond.
I thought she might go, after he went.....not that there's anything to that of course.

   To Julie noted......I see what you are saying,however I seem to remember reading that Mayor Drummond ,after the Tall Ships,was so impressed by the ladies performance that it was himself who made the originally temporary role a full time position.   Perhaps others may remember also.???

Wouldn't surpirise me if she was leaving out of boredom  ;D ;D
