I thought after Church Street was pedestrianised it would be Belcher's Parade?

Furze is Anglo-Saxon for field and more often seen down South than up here. An example being Ruffs Furze, the field belong to Ruff.

So Furze Field viz Field Field!?

They should have named it after the perfectly good house they demolished to make way for it. I detect an abhorrence within HBC for any open space that could be earning council tax.
