Title: Pre_mod
Post by: dave77 on March 31, 2014, 02: PM
I cannot reply to the pre-mod thread started by Admin, so i will start my own thread.

firstly i am accusing Admin of double standards.

James Campbell put on pre-mod because he dared to ask questions!
i have seen the questions and nothing there that could cause any kind of offence.

Harry Blackwood placed on pre-mod, i assume this is because he has claimed a member is being libelous. personally i don't think this is the real reason.

now for the double standards bit.

as some members here will know i started a thread called questions and answers. in this thread certain members blatently changed my wording to suit their own agendas.

Have any of these members been put on pre-mod?
it's ok i will answer my own question! no they haven't.

So here is a question for Admin.
Why haven't any of these members been put on pre-mod?

Before the usual suspects start commenting on myself defending James and Harry, this post would have been the same if any other members had been placed on pre-mod without (as far as i can see) any real reason (maybe Admin can explain the reasons further)

I have put this on the forum and not as a PM to Admin, because i want to be open, transparent and honest! unlike other members who will remain nameless but they know who they are.

Before the likes of MK1, Riddler5 or Stokoe decide to wade in. i am asking this question to Admin not to yourselves. pointless you lot answering anyway as you only change what has been written to suit your own agenda.

Possibility i could be placed on pre-mod because of this post, i have ran a number of forums myself over the years as Admin and moderator, just because i didn't agree with certain items being posted there wasn't any action taken as long as it wasn't breaking the rules.
now i know rules change forum to forum, but i have never come across anyone being banned or chastised for asking questions.
If budding politicians local or national cannot answer questions on a small town forum like this, what chance do they have if or when they get elected.
We have politicians already like this in our local council, we don't need anymore!

Dave. Many thanks for being an honourable man with integrity.

I have been placed on pre mod with no reasons given. I have been polite and professional and have done nothing to warrant this. IMHO neither did James Campbell.

Why is everyone currently hell bent on getting embroiled in childish playground antics on this site??

Why do people get so touchy, defensive, aggressive and very opinionated prior to local elections??

Why are people getting dragged into stupid tit for tat comments with each other??

Ladies/Gents calm down and try to put some good quality debates/posts on here.

I enjoy visiting this site (when commitments allow) however it would appear that recent posts and comments made by others has really got up peoples noses and is currently having a knock on effect across everything now being posted.

Lets all grow up, ignore those hell bent on upsetting/winding people up and get back to some good open/honest debate/discussion - not the childish name calling currently being undertaken  ;) ;)

Well said.

As children we were still friends even after having knocked hell out of each other in the playground.

Time to grow up and stop this childish nonsense and take your fight to the present.

I've asked this directly of the admin but hopefully someone else might be able to help.

How long are people normally on pre-mod?

You see I do think I contribute to discussions in a meaningful way despite, on occasion rubbing people up the wrong way.

I have never been abusive to anyone or broken any of the forum rules, apart from boring the admin, but surely it's as much of a pain in the backside for the admin to keep having to approve my posts as it is me missing most of a discussion by waiting up to 12 hours to get posts approved?

It's not like there's a huge risk of you ending up in trouble because of something I write or me upsetting someone to the point of distress surely?

Actually it was nearer £70,000 and much of that was money in lieu of notice. His sickness record left a lot to be desired - something about a hand condition/injury. He had a reputation as a constant whiner and attention seeker. I'm told that at one time he winged so much that another member of staff was assigned to carry his files to meetings for him because they were too heavy for him.

He feigned surprise recently when he was asked about his own experience of Industrial Tribunals claiming that he had never been to an Industrial Tribunal which was almost true. HBC chose to settle before it got to a full tribunal and by all accounts were glad to see the back of him.

I'm very pleased that MK1's post has been removed.

Has he been put on pre-mod?

No.

Perhaps because he didn't repeat  exactly the same thing  over and over and over  again in  entirely unrelated threads

No IMO your post was worse but I'll leave it there because I've just realised I'm no longer on pre-mod and don't want to blot my copybook.
