Confused? I simply don't understand the logic.
The labour rabble running the town lost (potentially) circa 300 jobs, via the refusal to 'outsource' the I.T. department.
It demanded the jobs were kept 'in-house'.

So, can anyone tell me why 7 contractors from a company called 'Tangent Engineering' are removing the rusted Headland promenade railings and replacing them with new piping?
I would have thought we had our own engineering section that could carry out the task.
Maybe not.

Sutheran is a very common name in Hartlepool and has roots in the original Hartlepool much like the Pounders, Wrights etc

tangent are the contractors who took an age to do oxford road/ stockton road junction and are currently doing burn valley roundabout, i wouldnt expect it to be done quickly
