Terrible shame. Poor thing must have been terrified.  Hope whoever left it there is caught and punished...but I reckon that's pretty unlikely.

Highly unlikely that the person responsible will be caught and prosecuted, considering that in this town, there are only a small number of police officers during the day and significantly less on a night. Strangely though, on Saturday, just after the Pools match, there were lots of police around Church St, who were, imo, trying their best to look intimidating to the away fans!
