Councils are to be allowed to raise council tax by 6% next April to include an increased social care precept. Anyone think our lot won't go for the full wack?

Our councillors will surely realise how hard pressed we council tax payers are, and will keep rises to a minimum!

As soon as they found out, the one who can use the abacus will have had the spending sorted. Not sure how they're going to work government cuts into this.
What can be asserted without proof,

getting rid of that waste of space would help
he's about as much use as hill  >:(
A councillor is an elected representative of their ward, not their political party!
Councils need communities but communities don't need councils
Party politics have no place in local goverment
