Well it didn't take long for the knives to come out of their sheaths, did it?

What a shambles.
"Remember, remember the fifth of November.
Gunpowder, Treason and Plot.
I see no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot."

Another bite of the cherry for Philip Broughton which in turn might mean another nail in the coffin for Iain Wright ?

Phil has got to get a turn with the current turnover rate :-)

Are you serious? No one voted for Broughton in Hartlepool, they voted for UKIP riding the wave of the anti-EU sentiment. I was at the hospital meeting in the Town Hall when Broughton tried to jump on the bandwagon and he was actually booed.

UKIP are in a total mess, unable to agree among themselves let alone run the country.

I don't believe Broughtom will be the candidate against Wright and I have doubts if Wright will even be a candidate himself. The de-selection talk is real with some saying Alan Clarke is being lined up to take over from Wright.

Broughton will be brushed aside to make way for Jonathan Arnott who will be looking for a job by then once his European funding dries up.
Diplomacy is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.

There's going to be a hell of a lot of UKIP MEPs looking for a job by 2020 - I reckon you're right Arnott will be a shoe in but by then UKIP could well be history the way they are going. Neil Hamilton??? FFS

Marky, there will be many MEP`s getting a P45 from all political party`s, only one major political party UKIP have wanted a P45 for years from this Corrupt and undemocratic body.
Has the sky fell in yet, or is pestilence and plague the best on offer. Nostradamus Marky please shareus your wisdom.

Actually better still lets have a prediction from the soothsayers, who will win tomorrows by-election in the headland I predict a UKIP win, i know I would say that wouldn`t I.Come on you soothsayers make a prediction.

UKIP are a basket case. What makes it  hilarious is that there was a letter in Tuesday's Mail from a UKIP drone (C Gallacher) making fun of the Labour Party and the Corbyn election. It  had a dig at 'in-fighting'  and  you could have substituted 'UKIP' for every mention of 'Labour' and the letter would have been just as factual!.
Truth is the party is falling apart. Farage is still at the helm and as long as the  looneys are fooled into believing he is their most valuable asset then they are doomed.
Let us not forget part of the reason the latest leader  left was physical intimidation from senior UKIP figures.
Tom likes predictions so lets try another. How long before Carswell goes back to the Tories?

I believe that around a third of UKIP MEPs have been sacked or prosecuted for fraud. All in UKIP is by far (in % terms) the most corrupt political party in the UK.  What would we expect from a party led by a tax-avoiding 'nig'nog' hating  city insider who employed his mistress at the taxpayers expense?

MK1 you havent made your prediction as Nostadamus, who will win the BY-ELECTION. stop the waffle

Lord elpus, would you be happy if UKIP won Hartlepool Headland, Socialism as has been recorded always runs out of other peoples money, the national papers say the Labour Party are now only interested in the Public Sector, and the welfare claimant.Which one are you.

I believe it will, for UKIP, be a Bye-Election!

The latest in the UKIP freak show. Seems it is a battle between Carswell/Hamilton and the Farage groupies. Everyone stabbing each other in the back. Big money donors demanding the rules be changed  to suit them-party of the people my a*rse!

Banks, who has given the party more than £1million, is refusing to part with any more money until certain reforms are introduced.
And these, crucially, include the deselection of the party's only MP, Douglas Carswell, and its newly elected leader in Wales, Neil 'Cash for Questions' Hamilton – both of whom are despised by Farage and Banks.

Speaking from the horses mouth, I would be very happy if SteveL won Headland and Harbour.  If Tim won it for UKIP that would be better than a win for Rogan.

In my opinion the best candidate by a mile SteveL.

I can't recall ever hearing Tim Flemming (nice lad) speak at a full council meeting when he was an Independent Councillor, so he'd fit well into the UKIP group.
