Hi,
following the new side entrance to to park on park avenue near the loos, are the main park gates permanently closed now??? hope not!

Yes.  In order to make people use the safety crossing.

Shouldn't be locked ,that's an emergency entrance to the park.

The gate 100 yards along is used for vehicular traffic.
