I've noticed vehicles on the beach near Newburn Bridge, any truth in the rumour the sea defences are being strengthened with massive blocks of recycled Private Eyes?
What can be asserted without proof,
can be dismissed without proof.

I wouldn't worry about it either way - apparently there's another batch on the way  ;)
