The recent release of Angie Wilcox and the order that she should repay just £1 will probably infuriate some. However, it's worth noting that despite the Police only managing to prove the theft of £7,000, the Judge assessed her gains from her crimes at £137,000. The £1 payback order is a token order that leaves her open to having any future assets seized should they be identified.

So watch out. She is bound to surface eventually and if she shows any signs of newly appeared assets the courts will be very interested.
